Thailand is one of the best and easiest places to find vegan food.  Chiang Mai has always been one of our favorite places to find it.  And this time we discovered  5 of the best vegan restaurants in Bangkok.  Truly delicious and mouthwatering dishes from sushi to tiramisu and a lot in between!  Read on and find out which are our 5 best vegan restaurants in Bangkok.

Goodsoul’s Kitchen

We fell in love with Goodsouls Kitchen in Chiang Mai.  So when we found out that there was one in Bangkok we rushed over as quickly as we could.  First of all this restaurant has so much atmosphere and beautiful decor.  Second of all the food is delicious and diverse.  So many options to choose from!

Our favorites are the Khao Soi Soup, Pizza and the Mushroom Steaks.  If you still have room, the desserts are to die for!  And lastly the cost is very reasonable.  To sum up, Goodsouls Kitchen is definitely our favorite of the 5 best vegan restaurants in Bangkok.

PRO TIP: Googlemaps has another Goodsouls Restaurant listed in Khong Tan.  This is not a restaurant.

Waki Waki Sushi

As a vegan, finding mouthwatering vegan sushi is nothing short of a miracle. Well, Waki Waki Vegetarian Sushi sure does deliver.  In spite of it’s name being vegetarian, most things on the menu are vegan or can be made vegan.  The Tuna Fighter and the Avocado Tempura were so good we could not believe they were plant based!  And the Assorted Mushroom Butter Yaki was also beyond delicious.

In summary this is the best vegan sushi restaurant bar none and it is our second favorite of the 5 best vegan restaurants in Bangkok.

Munch Box By Nidhi

The Munch Box by Nidhi is a spacious restaurant with a very vast vegan fusion menu.  While there are heavy Indian and Italian influences the food is 100% vegan and delicious.  Indeed the Tandoori Veggie and Seafood Platters were divine.  And the brownie with gelato was also a hit.  Keep in mind that for the Indian influenced foods the dishes are quite spicy.   To sum up the Munch Box was our fourth of the 5 best vegan restaurants in Bangkok.

Vistro-Vegan Cafe & Restaurant

Vistro-Vegan Cafe & Restaurant has a hip young vibe and a delicious menu.  There are many options, but our favorites were the Moo Ping Soi 24 and Truffle Flatbread Pizza.  In addition there are also lovely coconut based ice creams and other desserts.  Therefore it is our fourth most favorite of the 5 best vegan restaurants in Bangkok.

Veganerie

There is a multitude of Veganerie Restaurants in Bangkok – two in Phrom Phong, and the others in Chitlom, Silom and Siam.  Subsequently we chose the Silom one to visit.  During our first visit we had the Cauliflower Buffalo Wings and the Korean Kim-chi Dumplings followed by the Brownie.  And everything was fabulous.

However, on our second visit the Cheesy Spinach dish and the Soup and Sandwich combo truly underwhelmed. Ultimately this was our fault as we did not consult with the waiters and chose from the vast menu willy nilly.   In conclusion we still recommend this restaurant as the fifth of 5 best vegan restaurants in Bangkok as most of their food is fantastic.  Just ask the waiters for their recommendation.
